Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.

This project consists of constructing a new park. Work includes installation of a parking lot, roadway expansion, playground, walkways, restroom facility, entrance gate and any other items indicated on the plans. The property upon which the project will be constructed is subject to that certain Ground Lease Agreement between the City of Auburn and the Auburn University Real Estate Foundation as well as that certain Deed of Conservation Easement filed for record in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Lee County, Alabama at Book 2286, Page 248. The successful bidder will be responsible for complying with all applicable terms and conditions of the Lease and Conservation Easement. Guarantee will be required with each bid as follows: At least five percent (not to exceed $10,000) of the amount bid in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Auburn, Alabama. Failure to complete the project (all pay items) within one hundred and eighty (180) consecutive calendar days after the date specified in the Notice to Proceed may result in the assessment of liquidated damages in the amount of $1,500 per calendar day for each day the contract remains incomplete.
