**As of August 26, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City anticipates the following items will be included in the scope of the Project: installation of approximately 3,200 LF of 8-inch PVC water line, 5,250 LF of 12-inch PVC water line, 30 LF of 16-inch PVC water line and 4,600 LF of 24-inch PVC water line, site preparation; excavation; groundwater controls, SWPPP, borings at specified locations; and all other appurtenances necessary for the complete Project. The Project will be designed and constructed so as to meet all applicable federal, state, and local accessibility standards. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or an approved bidders bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum total proposal, payable to the City of Seguin, Texas without recourse, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds on the forms provided, within ten (10) days after the award of contract. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payments Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. The City of Seguin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
