Scope Furnish all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, superintendence and labor for first the construction of a by-pass system to route purchased water around the plant, then the demolition of the existing booster station, piping and hydropneumatic tank, then the installation/construction of a new 36' x 20' metal building with a new triplex vertical multistage pumps rated at 450 gpm, new foundation for 10,000-gallon hydropnematic tank with tank, rehabilitation of the existing 80,000-gallon ground storage tank and all associated appurtenances and piping. A generator will be provided for the plant by Coryell City Water Supply District but it will be the responsibility of the contractor to provide the foundation and wireing to the generator location. for the Coryell City Water Supply District. The project will tie into an existing lines owned by Coryell City Water Supply District located outside of FM 185 R.O.W. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 1 year Warranty Bond, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and satisfactory to the Owner. Bidders must submit a Cashier's or Certified Check issued by a bank satisfactory to Coryell City WSD, or a Bid Bond from a reliable Surety company, payable without recourse to the order of the Coryell City WSD, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the largest possible bid submitted as a guaranty that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute bonds and guaranty in the forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. Bids without the required Check or Bid Bond will not be considered. If a Bid Bond is not included, the bid will be disqualified and returned to Contractor unread. Coryell City WSD shall review all bids with the Board and after approval, the Notice of Award shall be issued. All lump sum and unit prices must be stated in both script and figures.
