Project is known as the VCBJ Mental Health Dormitory: Detention, Medical and Office Furniture. A new single-story dormitory building is under construction at the Volusia County Branch Jail, 1300 Red John Drive, Daytona Beach, Florida 32124. The building is located within the secure perimeter of the Branch Jail. There is no loading dock. Delivery is to ground floor at grade via a chain-link security fence gates. For security purposes, the floor plan is not provided in the solicitation. It will be provided to the awarded furniture vendor. The Contractor and any Subcontractor shall pay all employees working on this Agreement not less than minimum wage specified in the Fair Labour Standards Act (29 CFR 510-794) as amended Any information concerning the County, its products, services, personnel, policies, or any other aspect of its business learned by the Contractor or personnel furnished by the Contractor in the course of providing services pursuant to the Agreement and exempt from disclosure pursuant to Section 119.01, F.S., shall be held in confidence and shall not be disclosed by the Contractor or any employee or agents of the Contractor or personnel furnished by the Contractor, without the prior written consent of the County The County reserves the right to negotiate with the awarded Contractor(s) without completing the competitive bidding process for materials, products, and/or services similar in nature to those specified within this solicitation for which requirements were not known when the Solicitation was released.
