Renovation of a municipal facility in West Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
- Strip and Wax floors at various Babcock Center Locations on a quarterly basis. - Move any existing items or furniture in order to strip and wax floors - Strip floors with commercial grade floor stripper - Use scrubbing pad or similar to loosen any affixed materials to the floor - Prep floors for wax including cleaning the surface, baseboards and cove base and any accumulated dirt in the corners - Apply 2 coats of high traffic volume wax ensuring no wax bleeds onto any carpeted surfaces - Wet buff the floors and re-set any moved furniture. - All work must be completed after normal business hours Babcock Center is seeking to contract a qualified vendor to provide floor stripping and waxing services at various locations in Richland and Lexington Counties. Services will be provided at minimum on a QUARTERLY basis. A list of locations and approximate square footage (subject to vendor verification) is provided in the solicitation packet. Work is expected to be completed outside normal business hours. Bidders/Vendors can ask direct questions to the Project Manager and will be offered an optional caravan tour the Lykes Lane, Parklane, and Babcock Campus locations.
