Site work and paving for a road / highway in Webster, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
for milling edges and two-inch overlay on approximately six blocks of City streets. Bids are to be submitted using three-quarter inch hot mix paver laid and compacted. Bids are to include priming streets that are gravel base before paving. Bidder shall indicate total quantity (tons), unit price and total dollar amount. Contact City Hall for more information. A deposit (certified or cashier's check) in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total bid or a bid bond equal to ten (10) percent of the total bid is required to accompany each bid submitted (SDCL 5-18B-2). Proof of insurance must also be provided. The City requires the work to be completed by October 1, 2024. Each bid must be plainly marked on the envelope: "Bid for Street Overlay." The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City of Webster is an equal opportunity provider.
