Question Deadline 09/13/2024 at 12:00 PM ET The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (the “Authority” or the “JTA”) a body politic and corporate and an agency of the State of Florida, located at 100 La Villa Center Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32204, is requesting a quote with required form(s) from a Bidder to provide KAPG Intercom Upgrades. See Section VII for Complete Scope of Work. prevailing wage protections apply to laborers and mechanics employed on FTA assisted construction, alteration, or repair projects. The Contractor will comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, 40 U.S.C. §§ 3141-3144, and 3146-3148 as supplemented by DOL regulations at 29 CFR. Part 5, “Labour Standards Provisions Applicable to Contracts Governing Federally Financed and Assisted Construction.” In accordance with the statute, the Contractor shall pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the prevailing wages specified in a wage determination made by the Secretary of Labour. In addition, the Contractor agrees to pay wages not less than once a week. The JTA reserves the right to request additional information, and/or to conduct both pre-award and post-award audits to ensure that the Contractor is in compliance with Buy America requirements.
