Bidders must submit all questions pertaining to this bid through the City's Online. cope of Services The City of Ontario (City) is seeking On-Call Services for Efficiency Testing of Water Well Pumps and Water Meters. The City currently has 19 groundwater wells, 16 Booster pumps and associated facilities within the water system. The services will be efficiency testing of all pumps, motors along with Repairs and Calibration of water meters utilized within the water system. Meter sizes range in size from 5/8 inch to 36 inch. Contractor will provide all required services to perform efficiency testing of water wells and water meters, and provide maintenance and repairs water meters located at various locations within City of Ontario. The services in general consist of, but not limited to Provide efficiency testing for water well pumps, Provide efficiency testing for booster pumps; Test & Calibrate various types of water meters; Provide parts and labor to repair water meters; Upon selection and notification of award, contractor will be required to submit a Bid Bond of 10% and a Payment Bond of 100% of the total bid amount. The City reserves the right to waive any immaterial irregularity in any bid if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City to do so. The City has established a local preference to vendors located within the City limits of Ontario a 1 3/4% advantage in the City's determination of low bid, and a 3/4% advantage of vendors outside the City but within the County of San Bernardino.
