The floor vent system is comprised of 264 individual 8” lateral pipes, each spanning a length of 175’. Access to the pipes will be facilitated via an 8” rubber cap on one end of half the pipes within the building corridor, while the remaining half will necessitate removal of a 24” fiberglass manifold, providing access to six pipes at a time. Reinstallation of manifolds shall precede movement to subsequent pipe sets. Hearing protection is mandated within the corridor area.
