This project includes construction of approximately 12,700 feet of 15-inch, 18-inch and 21-inch wastewater line from the west side of Boss Range Road to the west property line of the Foster Tract. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to Town of Northlake in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. The Town of Northlake reserves the right to reject any or all bids received in its sole discretion for any reason or no reason. Contractors for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required. The Town of Northlake reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities, in its sole discretion for any reason or no reason. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days from date on which bids are opened.
