The City of Deltona is looking for a competent Contractor(s) to furnish and install fiber optic cabling and conduit. This is a CDBG funded project using Davis Bacon. All information can be found at the end of this bid. Compliance with Davis Bacon, FDOT and other applicable labor law requirements is required. The current bid is for 36 strands of single mode fiber to be installed as per the specifications below to connect a pull box and splice all single mode fiber located at Austin Ave and Howland Blvd to Dwight Hawkins Park, 3050 Riverhead Dr, Deltona, FL. A map has been provided to show to required route of the fiber. All fiber will be terminated end to end within each facility. The Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, coordination, transportation, permits and incidentals necessary to furnish and install fiber optic cable, terminations and testing. Updated CAD drawings in PDF and Google KMZ, GPS coordinates of all pull boxes and conduits will be provided by Contractor after installation and testing. All provided pull boxes should have "City of Deltona IT Fiber" inscribed on the cover. The contractor will provide a warranty cover all services, labor, and equipment for 1 year. The City of Deltona reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals and to make the award to that Bidder/Respondent, who in the opinion of the City will be in the best interest of and/or the most advantageous to the City. The City of Deltona also reserves the right to reject the bid/proposal of any vendor who has previously failed in the proper performance of an award or to deliver on time contracts of a similar nature or who, in the City's opinion, is not in a position to perform properly under this award. The City of Deltona reserves the right to inspect all facilities of bidders/respondents in order to make a determination as to the foregoing. The City of Deltona reserves the right to waive any irregularities, informalities, and technicalities in offers received, and may, at its discretion, request a re-bid, or abandon the project/procurement in its entirety.
