*As of October 1, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.* Caldwell County Water District (CCWD or DISTRICT) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, and other services necessary to install emergency standby generator systems at four (4) CCWD facilities on a turnkey basis, including the purchase, delivery, installation, testing, and final inspection/start-up of four (4) diesel-powered generators and automatic transfer switches as well as any required site work, permits, and inspections. This project will be partially funded through FEMA's 404 Hazard Mitigation Grant Program with the purpose of ensuring uninterrupted power supply during emergency situations, safeguarding the continuous operation of critical systems within the facilities during power outages A pre-proposal site visit may be scheduled with the District Superintendent upon request. Furnish all labor, materials, and other services necessary to supply and install four (4) diesel-powered, standby generators and four (4) automatic transfer switches to fully power the following CCWD facilities* during power outages: 1) Site 1: Pump Station #2 in Princeton, KY (PS2) 2) Site 2: Pump Station #3 in Fredonia, KY (PS3) 3) Site 3: Water Tower in Fredonia, KY (WT) 4) Site 4: Standpipe in Princeton, KY (SP)
