Site work and paving for a military facility in Petawawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility; and for paving for a military facility.
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision, and equipment necessary to upgrade the grading issues at firing positions and clear trees within range area and hydro seeding in areas of new and disturbed topsoil. The client will provide the topsoil and sand situated at the Five Fingers dump site. This project also includes the removal of the existing power duct and wire from the pole base to WTA-046. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. The intent of this project is to correct the grading deficiencies at Y-range and to install provisions to relocate an electrical transformer. DND will provide the topsoil and sand at the Five Fingers dump site, the contractor shall transport and spread the material to the elevations indicated on the plans. Range features such as mantlet timbers and range marker post pockets are to be removed and new ones installed as shown on the plans. The project also includes the removal of the existing power duct and wire from the pole base to WTA-046. The contractor is to pick up the client supplied transformer pad and base at building S-111 and install it along with new ducts as indicated on the plans. Trees in the SE of the site are to be cleared and the entire area of new and disturbed topsoil is to be hydraulic seeded. Award subject to final approval.
