Reference Number : 0000357744 Contractor shall furnish and install new concrete sidewalks as outlined in the RFP Scope of Work. Construction must comply with the City of Jamestown Department of Public Works Standard Specifications for Right-of-Way Work, dated May 2011 or the most current eddition. Project Locations: 200 E. 3rd St Scope of Work: The contractor will complete all excavation necessary for instillation of approximately 1300 square yards of 6" flatwork. The contractor is to provide all material, and labor to construct the listed items as marked in the field, or as directed by the engineer. The work will include but is not limited to: - Placement and compaction of 4" NYSDOT #1 Stone required for 6" flatwork. - Concrete shall be Standard City of Jamestown Concrete Mix, 611 lbs. cement/cy of concrete with approved admixture, 3" slump +/- 1". - Expansion joint is to be placed between concrete and all curbing. - A liquid membrane curing compound shall be applied to all new concrete surfaces in accordance with NYSDOT Standard Specifications. - Contractor shall replace any sealant removed against parapet wall with BASF Sonolastic NP 2. Contractor shall match any material removed during the excavation of the joint, clean all surfaces and apply sealant according to manufactures recommendations. - Contractor shall protect exposed joint from water infiltration between excavation and sealant completion.
