furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work for the BROOKWOOD SPORTS COMPLEX PARKING AND WALKING TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS. This project, funded through the Land and Conservation Water Fund, consists of site work, grading, asphalt paving (2,960 tons) and striping, and lighting of the north parking lot, south parking lot, and walking trail at the Brookwood Sports Complex. The project also includes the construction of two concrete sidewalks (750 square yards), valley gutter (525 linear feet), combination curb and gutter (1,200 linear feet), and storm sewer upgrades. The attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder. All bidders must comply with the requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work on which the proposal is submitted. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
