Remodeling of a mixed-use development in McMinnville, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility; and warehouse / distribution facility.
McMinnville Water & Light (MW&L) is seeking sealed proposals to provide professional engineering and architectural services for the design and construction of an office building expansion/remodel and warehouse seismic retrofit. This is a Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS) Process. The successful consultant will be responsible for design, permitting, contractor bid phase services, construction management and project closeout services. MW&L invites entities (Proposers) to submit a proposal according to the requirements set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposers must be a licensed business registered within the State of Oregon, and individuals proposed by Architect or Engineer of Record shall possess a valid and current State of Oregon professional registration. Proposer shall demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years' experience providing the types of services described within the Scope of Services of this Request for Proposals. Proposer shall not have a record of substandard workmanship, as verified by MW&L by communication with licensing authorities, former clients and references and other means as MW&L deems appropriate. All communication and questions during this procurement period must be directed in writing to MW&L's Single Point of Contact. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. It is the hope of MW&L to begin construction in the fall of 2025.
