Site work for a civil project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Ruthven Street Retaining Wall Construction. Summary The City of Pittsburgh Office of Management & Budget, on behalf of the Department of Mobility & Infrastructure, is soliciting bids for the construction to replace and rehabilitate portions of the existing retaining wall supporting Ruthven Street above the Pittsburgh Regional Transit's (PRT) Martin Luther King Jr. busway in the City's Polish Hill neighborhood. The project also includes work for replacement of PWSA water and sewer infrastructure. Coordination and phasing of the work for PWSA and DOMI's wall replacement/rehabilitation is an important aspect of the project. Traffic is to be maintained to allow access to the residences impacted by the project. Roadway restoration will also be required as part of the project. Background Stakeholders for this project include DOMI, PWSA, PRT, and the residents within the neighborhood. The successful contractor will be required to coordinate with and follow required procedures identified by PRT as it impacts their facility. Traffic control is to be developed by the contractor to facilitate their means and methods while still allowing access to the residences impacted by the project. Coordination with and following the procedures required by PWSA for their facilities is also required. Question Submission Deadline: August 9, 2024, 3:00pm. Question Submission Method: All questions shall be submitted via "Q&A" feature on online. The City reserves the right to request clarification on any Bidder's Bid prior to Award.
