Site work and paving for a road / highway in Osseo, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Jackson County, Wisconsin, will be accepting bids for reconditioning of approximately 0.4 mile of Requa Road. This is a Local Road Improvement Project, (LRIP). The Town of Garfield reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid most advantageous to the Town. This is a lump sum bid item to include all labor and equipment to sign the work zone, widen the existing gravel road for a finished 22' top, add 4" compacted new 3/4 " granite gravel base, fine grade, water and compact, and double chip seal 24' wide with 100% fractured 3/8 " washed dark blue/black granite chips and PG 58-28, 5% cutback hot liquid asphalt. 2. The contractor shall provide the Town with samples and quarry location for both the chips and granite base at least 4 days prior to bid opening. 3. The Town maintains the right to approve or disapprove of chips and/or granite base from specific quarries.
