Project to be completed within 75 days of Notice to Proceed. CASHMERE MILL SITE SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT project located at 5431 and 5441 Sunset Highway, Cashmere, Washington. Remove and replace existing sidewalks at two existing buildings. Work shall include a limited amount of new sidewalk, sealing of concrete walks, modification of downspouts, tactile ramp insets, minor improvements to the subgrade, repairs and adjustments to landscaping and irrigation, and other minor work items. This Request for Proposals is subject to the Prevailing Wage Laws of the State of Washington. Any bid you submit must reflect a rate not less than this amount. These bids may be reviewed for compliance during routine audits by the state examiner from the Washington State Auditor's office. The CDRPA reserves the right to immediately terminate the contract with the Contractor for noncompliance with the Prevailing Wage Laws. A bid tabulation will be posted on the Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority website within 24 hours or the next business day. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities, without cause. 1. Performance and Payment Bonds in the full amount of the Contract Sum, plus accepted Alternate Bids and Washington State Sales Tax. 2. Certificate(s) of Insurance as stipulated in the Form of Contract. 3. Complete list of subcontractors and major materials suppliers to be utilized on the work. The successful bidder shall furnish to the Owner a corporate surety bond in the full amount of the Contract Sum, including Washington State Sales Tax, conditioned for the faithful performance of the Contract and for the payment of all laborers, mechanics, subcontractors, materialmen, and all persons who shall supply such person or persons, or subcontractors, with provisions and supplies for the carrying on of the work of said Contract. The surety must be authorized to do business in the State of Washington and be of form satisfactory to the Owner. The successful bidder shall furnish Certificates of Insurance complying with the requirements set forth in the Public Works Agreement, and in form satisfactory to the Owner. Contracts that do not exceed one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) may, at the discretion of CDRPA, be waived in exchange for an increase in retainage to 10%. Contracts between one hundred and fifty thousand ($150,000) and three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) may at the discretion of the CDRPA, reduce or waive retainage; however a performance and payment bond is required. Contracts three hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) and greater, retainage, performance bonds and payment bonds are required.
