Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Manchester, New Hampshire. Working plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies. The project involves construction of a new building/buildings to house two out of the four MWW divisions. The approximate sizes and purpose for the spaces are listed below. Note that this is a preliminary list and may be changed to suit the MWW needs as the project progresses. 1) 20,000 SF Office Space 2) 3,000 SF Vehicle Service Bay 3) 19,000 SF Enclosed Parking 4) 7,500 SF Additional Storage The campus at 1581 Lake Shore Road currently houses the Lake Massabesic Water Treatment Plant and Raw Water Pump Station, as well numerous other buildings as shown on Figure 1. The expectation is that the area outlined in red on Figure 1 (8+/- acres) is where the new facility will be constructed. Work to be completed by the selected firm includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1) Existing conditions and topographic survey 2) Wetland Delineation 3) Subsurface Investigations 4) Permitting 5) Site and Building Design Drawings and Specifications 6) Bidding Services 7) Professional Services During Construction The Manchester Water Works (MWW) requests the submission of Statements of Qualifications from architectural and/or engineering firms to provide professional design and construction services for new buildings to house its Finance/Administration and Distribution Divisions on the property of 1581 Lake Shore Road, Manchester. Currently these divisions operate out of 281 Lincoln Street. The Statement of Qualifications will assist in the selection of architectural/engineering firms for this project. The Manchester Water Works will review the qualification statements of each firm. Select firms deemed pre-qualified by the MWW will be asked to submit technical proposals and interview for the project. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submittals if it is in its best interest.
