Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shawnee, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Bidders will be able to view preliminary results via ONLINEas soon as the bids are opened and will be notified of the results within fourteen (14) days of the date set above for bids to be received. The Contract shall be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the sole and complete discretion of such Governing Body. The City of Shawnee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bids. The Project provides for the lining of approximately 1,263 linear feet of pipe ranging in size from 12" to 36" and installation of a new 7'x5' area inlet, new 4'x4' concrete junction box, and new 4'x4' concrete setback curb inlet. The project also provides for the installation of 217 linear feet of 15" RCP Construction will also include surface restoration including concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk and driveway, asphalt road, asphalt parking lot, wood fence, sod, and concrete street light foundation replacement.. This project will only be available for download and bidding online and there will be no public opening of online bid documents. The email address registered with ONLINE must be a monitored email. In order to be considered a qualified bidder, the online bid must be completed and submitted, all addenda acknowledged and acknowledgement uploaded to the site, and a copy of the bid bond uploaded to the site. Bid documents may be obtained after 10:00 a.m., July 16, 2024, from ONLINE by following this link at online A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled for this project. Each Bidder shall upload and/or file with their bid a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond drawn on an acceptable bank in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid Bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders, with the exception of the second qualifying bidder, at such time as their bids are rejected. All bidders shall verify that they have considered all issued addenda. Any addenda issued during the time of bidding shall be covered and included in the bid. There will be no clarifications or exceptions allowed on the Bid. Bids are for a total bid package, and total contract price. Each bid shall be made on a proposal form included with the bid documents. Bids shall be submitted online as indicated on the website. An officer of the firm making such proposal shall properly execute all proposal forms. Bids received after the time and date above specified shall not be considered. INTERPRETATION OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed Contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of Plans, Specifications, Proposal, or Contract Documents, they may submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt and actual delivery. Any interpretation of such documents will be made only by Addendum duly issued and a copy of such Addendum will be mailed or delivered to each person receiving a set of such documents. The Owner will not be responsible for any other explanations or interpretations of such documents which anyone presumes to make on behalf of the Owner before expiration of the ultimate time set for the receipt of bids.
