The Work includes removal of the existing 4,000-gallon HPT with foundation and installation of one (1) 10,000-gallon steel ASME hydropneumatic tank and foundation; providing and installing HPT accessories; associated electrical and control work, piping, valves, and fittings; site work; seeding, pressure testing; bacteriological testing; construction materials testing; and all else specified in the construction drawings and contract documents necessary to construct, tie-in, and make for a complete and operable system. The project is located at 32503 1/2 Timber Point Dr., Brookshire, TX 77423. (Fort Bend County Key Map 482-X) For construction contracts $50,000 and over but less than $250,000, the bidder shall submit a bid bond of at least two percent (2%) of the maximum total bid amount. For construction over $250,000, the bidder shall submit a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the bid bond payable to the Owner. Bidder must be capable of executing a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond for 100 percent (100%) of the contract sum in accord with the conditions of the contract. The deadline to ask questions is 7/27/2024 10:00 AM CST. Questions must be submitted electronically. Bidder shall fill in the blank on the bid form for the number of calendar days for the substantial completion period of performance from date of Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be achieved within 30 calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 90 calendar days from the date bids are open.
