No definite date for the rebid.** The "Water World Wave Room Ventilation System Renovation," Dothan, Alabama, 36303, as indicated in the project documents, includes the demolition of existing ventilation ducting, fans, specified doors, and all other mechanical and electrical components as well as the installation of new ventilation ducting, fans, specified doors and all other mechanical and electrical components. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Bids will be received only from Qualified Contractors duly licensed by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors and meeting the qualifications indicated in the Project Documents. Bidder must agree to commence work on October 1, 2024. Work is contingent upon acceptance and signature from the City Commission and Mayor at the city Commission Meeting. Construction is to be fully complete by December 16, 2024. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% not to exceed $10,000.00 for repair to or construction of public works having a value in excess of $100,000 must be replaced by a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid price and a surety bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price upon award of the contract (purchase order). These bonds will remain in effect until completion of the contract.
