The City of Canton Downtown Development Authority, working with Horwath HTL Atlanta, invites qualified firms to submit a written proposal for the Hotel Development Services for the planned Hotel located in the downtown Canton, Georgia area. There are a total of seven potential site locations in the Downtown area available for consideration. Thank you for your interest in discussing the proposed Canton Downtown Hotel ("the Hotel"). Per our discussion, on behalf of the City of Canton and the Canton Downtown Development Authority (collectively "the City"), Horwath HTL Atlanta invites your firm to submit a written proposal for the Hotel Development Services for the planned Hotel located in the downtown area. There are a total of seven site locations along Main Street available for consideration, which are outlined in Appendix 2 & Sites and Market Overview Deck. Please choose one site to proceed with this proposal. Proposals are solicited for these services in accordance with the terms, conditions, and instructions set forth in this Request for Proposals ("RFP"). Horwath HTL has been contracted as the Development Consultant ("the Consultant") to assist the City with the selection process. At the time of this RFP, established hotel chains expressed their interest in branding the Hotel under their boutique lifestyle brands. The City is open to diverse structures and financing options and is willing to discuss potential incentives for this project.
