KEENE ROAD PATHWAY PHASE 4 The project provides for the improvements of approximately 1.3 miles of 12-foot-wide asphalt pavement pathway along Keene Rd. between Belmont Blvd. and W. Van Giesen St (SR224). The work shall include project temporary traffic control, construction surveying, removing asphalt concrete pavement, roadway excavation incl. haul, 1226 CY of crushed surfacing top course, 1030 tons of Commercial HMA, soil residual herbicide, roadside ditches, shoulder restoration, structural earth walls, check dams and other work in accordance with these Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond or quality assurance submittals within the time stated in the contract documents, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of West Richland. Each Bidder shall warrant he has not entered into collusion with another bidder or any other person, and does not discriminate in any manner against any person based solely on race, color, sex or creed.
