Site work for a civil project in Bozeman, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.
Gallatin County expressly reserves the right, in its sole judgment, to accept or reject any or all bids, with or without cause, and to waive any defects and to allow modifications and supplementation of bids that are submitted within the deadline. The project consists of the installation of approximately 1,840 LF of canal lining along the existing Highline Canal for the Highline Canal Company. Construction will include grading and shaping of the existing canal, installation of liner and ballast material, and required erosion control measures. The project includes an additive alternate to replace an existing culvert under the canal. Construction must be substantially completed by March 15, 2025, with final completion occurring no later than April 15, 2025. If the project is not completed within the time provided by this Agreement, the County may deduct for each day the Project remains uncompleted the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00) from the compensation hereinafter specified and retain that sum as payment for liquidated damages sustained by reason of the Contractor's failure to complete the project on time.
