The City has the requirement for submerged infrastructure inspection services as a part of the predictive and preventive maintenance regime. The provision of this requirement shall include all the applicable equipment, tooling, and diving crew, consisting of two divers and two support members with boats, on an as and when requested basis aligning with the department's maintenance routine. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: Providing diving crew to clean trash racks of the intake assembly and do underwater video inspection, evaluation and recording of the inside and outside of the intake structure and valve Inspecting and evaluating the condition of the manways in the river Inspecting and evaluating sample and chemical supply lines and fasteners Inspecting and evaluating traveling screens, ice boom anchors, chemical diffuser, stop log gains, chemical injection chamber and inspection for zebra mussels Inspecting and evaluating all underwater masonry from sluice gates to the end of the wing walls Inspecting and evaluating the suction and screen wells Inspect and evaluating the brass block and stainless steel bolts assemblies that secure the valve stem to the sluice gate Commercial General Liability insurance issued on an occurrence basis for an amount of not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence for any negligent acts or omissions by the Contractor. Such insurance shall include, but is not limited to, bodily injury, death and property damage including loss of use: premises, property and operations liability; products and broad form completed operations liability, blanket contractual liability; cross liability; severability of interest clause; contingent employers liability; personal injury liability; owner's and contractor's protective coverage; non-owned automobile liability; broad form property damage; employees as additional Insured; occurrence property damage.
