Renovation of a municipal facility in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This Request for Quotations (the RFQ) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (the City) to prospective Contractors to submit non-binding quotations for Kitchener Operations Facility Washbay Repairs , as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverable). Work includes, but is not limited to, removing rust from structural steel, cleaning concrete blocks, and insulated metal panel walls using pressure washing and similar techniques. Surfaces will then be treated with a protective coating. Project also involves installation of new man doors and frames and salvaging and reinstalling existing hardware. Repairs to concrete slabs and reinforcing steel structural components such as columns and wall support channels is also required, as well as cleaning and coating around the perimeter of the inspection pit.
