Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Bigfork, Montana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Project Groom/Hall Cr-1M W of Swan Lake will remove three existing deteriorating timber bridges across Six Mile, Hall and Groom Creeks and replace with reinforced concrete box culverts. The roadway and approaches will be reconstructed. Seal and cover and fog seal will be applied to the finished roadway surface, and rumble strips, approach culverts, mailboxes, pavement markings, signing, delineation, guardrail, clearing and grubbing and topsoil and seeding will be included. The project is located in Lake County on Montana 83 (P-83) in Swan Lake. Site 1 (Six Mile Creek section) begins at RP 77.4 and travels south for approximately 0.3 miles to RP 77.1. The Six Mile Creek Bridge is located at RP 77.3. Site 2 (Hall and Groom Creeks section) begins at RP 71.9 and travels south for approximately 0.6 miles to RP 71.3. The Hall Creek Bridge is located at RP 71.7, and the Groom Creek Bridge is located at RP 71.5. Contract to be completed as outlined in the Contract Time special provision found in the proposal.
