The work of the Contract shall be to provide Concrete Pavement and Sidewalk Restoration for small water distribution maintenance projects in accordance with the requirements of Ridgewood Water, Ridgewood, New Jersey 07450, as needed and described in the Contract specifications. The scope of the work to be performed under the Agreement for CONCRETE PAVEMENT & SIDEWALK RESTORATION shall comprise of the following: Furnish all material, labor, equipment, tools and facilities necessary to provide Concrete Pavement and Sidewalk Restoration for small water distribution maintenance projects as detailed in the Contract Specifications. The Village of Ridgewood shall pay the Contractor in current funds for the Contractor's performance of the above described scope of work, based on the Contractor's bid rates for a duration of 4 months, subject to any additions and deductions as provided in the Contract Documents. Total Contract Not to Exceed Blanket Sum $100,000.00 This specification contains requirements pertaining to Concrete Pavement and Sidewalk Restoration for small water distribution maintenance projects for Ridgewood Water. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and means necessary to repair and install localized sections of concrete sidewalk, brick band/concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, and driveway aprons. The work locations are throughout the Ridgewood Water service area which includes Glen Rock, Midland Park, Ridgewood, and Wyckoff. Ridgewood Water and The Village of Ridgewood assume no responsibility for loss or non-delivery of any bid sent to it prior to the Bid Opening. Bids must include and be submitted on all required Forms in the Bid Package; no other forms will be accepted. Prices quoted must be net and exclusive of all Federal, State and Local Sales and Excise Taxes. Any award or awards may be made at a later or subsequent time or meeting of the Village Council. The contractual obligation of Ridgewood Water under this Contract for these items is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for this Contract can be made. The Village of Ridgewood reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or to accept a bid which, in its judgment best serves the interest of the Village. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. Award or rejection of bids will be made within this period. Proposals submitted by Bidders and/or Bidder's Insurance Companies not chartered in the State of New Jersey, must be accompanied by proper certificate(s) from the Secretary of State, indicating that such Bidders, Bidder's Insurance Companies, and/or Surety Companies are authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey.
