The City of Eupora is soliciting Requests for Proposals (hereinafter referred to as RFP) to perform site grading a earthwork services based on the provided master grading plan for the Spud Stennett Park Renovation at 185 Spud Stennett Drive. The selected contractor would provide site grading and earthwork services to the City of Eupora for a predetermined grading design for the park property. Submitting contractors must demonstrate they have experience in similar development projects. The selected firm will be responsible for all services needed to complete the project. Basic services shall include the following: Site Preparation Excavate and grade the site to the specified elevations and contours Import and place fill material as needed to achieve the design grades Compact soil to meet any compaction requirements Implement and maintain erosion and sediment control measures during construction Install drainage systems including but not limited to culverts, swales, and stormwater management features Ensure proper site drainage based on the grading plan to prevent water accumulation Implement safety measures to protect workers and the public during construction Comply with all local, state, and federal safety regulations Perform final grading to ensure a smooth and even surface Prepare the site for landscaping and other finishing work. Construction begins: on or before September 1, 2024 The City of Eupora would like to complete this project prior to October 1, 2024 in order to meet the requirements of grant funding related to the project. Proposers are expected to carefully examine the scope of work and delivery schedule in the RFP prior to submission. Each proposer shall examine these documents carefully; and, no later than fifteen calendar days prior to the date for receipt of qualifications, shall make an email request to Odie Avery, Director of Public Works euporapublicworks@gmail.com for interpretations or corrections of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error which may be discovered. All interpretations or corrections will be issued as addenda and will be sent to all proposers. No addenda will be issued during a period beginning 48 hours before opening of qualification packages. The City of Eupora reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, in whole or in part. The successful proposer will have fourteen (14) days from the date of award of the proposal to submit an executed contract and insurance certificate with the City.
