Reference Number 0000357832 The City of Oceanside (City) is currently in the construction bidding and procurement process for the Fire Mountain Recycled Water Reservoir and Pump Station construction contract. This project will construct a 2.2 million-gallon recycled water reservoir and booster pump station, with all associated yard piping and appurtenances, on a City-owned parcel containing an existing potable water reservoir. This project will affect nearby residents in the Fire Mountain community, most notably those living adjacent to the site. Plans and specifications for the Fire Mountain Recycled Water Reservoir and Pump Station project were prepared by Dudek. Major items of work required to construct the Fire Mountain Recycled Water Reservoir and Pump Station include (1) a 2.2 million-gallon pre-stressed concrete reservoir; (2) a booster pump station including CMU- wall building and skid-mounted pumps; (3) on-site yard piping connecting proposed reservoir to existing mains at the street; (4) a stormwater detention basin, landscaping, and irrigation around new facilities; (5) a SCADA / communication tower; and (6) associated civil, mechanical, and electrical improvements. Commensurate with the City's request for bids from Contractors, the City is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management and inspection services to oversee construction of the Fire Mountain Recycled Water Reservoir and Pump Station project.
