Site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of September 6, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Work generally includes earthwork, asphalt paving, concrete paving, color coat, site furniture, fencing and landscaping. Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Suretywith the proposal. In addition, the successful contractor(s)must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond,Labor and Material Payment Bond, and required proof ofinsurance following the award of a contract. All contracts for work herein are subject to all Park District rules and regulations and providing for the paymentof Cook County's prevailing wage rate to all workers involved in these projects. All bids will remain firm for 60days after the bid opening. The Elk Grove Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities on a bid, and to accept the lowest responsible bid that serves the best interests of the Park District. This work to be performed under this agreement shall be commenced August 1, 2024 or upon permit approval and shall be completed October 31, 2024.
