Additionally, the city has four colleges and universities, and Great Lakes Crossing Outlets (one of the state's largest destination shopping centers) Fieldstone Golf Club (FGC) is an exceptional 18-hole public golf course located in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Situated in an easily assessable Detroit suburb, Auburn Hills is a distinguished location for automotive and high-tech businesses whose employees frequent FGC. Fieldstone Golf Club has consistently averaged over 32,500 starts for the past 10+ years. The course offers an exceptional variety of hole designs by the renowned architect, Arthur Hills, that combines diverse landscape and wetlands with gently rolling fairways through majestic hardwoods. All questions will be answered by August 22, 2024. Scope of Work & Specifications o Renovation of all existing bunkers at Fieldstone Golf Club to begin in 2025 (Exhibit A). o Bunkers shall be renovated to original design, sizing, shape, lining, and drainage. o At a minimum, bunkers shall be filled with Covia Signature 500 Sand. Proposers may submit other options in addition to the minimum requirement. o At a minimum, bunker faces and perimeters shall be sodded with Turf Type Tall Fescue. Proposers may submit other options in addition to the minimum requirement. o Contractor is responsible for mobilization of equipment, installation of any temporary roads/paths for equipment or materials, and removal of temporary roads/paths. o Contractor is responsible for restoring any and all property that is disrupted as a result of the work to be conducted. o Contractor is responsible for all earthwork including, but not limited to, soil management, shaping, reconstruction, removal and disposal of existing materials (sand, soil, liners, drainage, etc.). o Contractor is responsible for the construction of bunkers including, but not limited to, building bunkers to specifications of current industry standards (depth of sand, drainage, capillary concrete, etc.). o Contractor is responsible for the installation of drainage, gravel/stone, capillary concrete liner, bunker sand, soil management surrounding bunkers, erosion control, and sodding of bunker faces and perimeters, including any disrupted turf. o Contractor is responsible for relocating any existing irrigation deemed necessary for construction of bunkers and is also responsible for any damaged irrigation that was damaged during the construction process. o Project shall be completed within a 16-week timeframe, which shall be determined in collaboration with the City of Auburn Hills. The City of Auburn Hills reserves the right, when it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City, to award the proposal in its entirety, in part, or not at all. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal received, and to accept any proposal or part thereof, which it shall deem to be most favorable to the interests of the City of Auburn Hills.
