Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Wheaton, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
SCOPE OF WORK This work consists of installing new sidewalks and detectable warning strips at various locations throughout the City of Wheaton to improve access to schools. Bidder shall provide a Bid Bond / Bid Deposit of 10% of the full Contract price If in the form of a certified check or a bank cashiers check made payable to the City of Wheaton. Payment Bond: The successful Bidder shall provide an original Payment Bond equal to one hundred ten percent (100%) of the full amount of the award Performance Bond: The successful Bidder shall provide an original Performance Bond equal to one hundred ten percent (100%) of the full amount of the award The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Maintenance Bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the final contract price. All questions, either administrative or technical, shall be submitted via email to Tina Walters at twalters@wheaton.il.us no later than July 24, 2024, at 2:00 pm (CST). Substantial Completion Date: September 30, 2024 Final Completion Date: October 25, 2024 The City reserves the right to waive any informality, technical requirement, deficiency, or irregularity in the offer
