Reference Number 0000274573 The Municipality of North Norfolk is Requesting 2 Proposals for a Three Year Contract for the Supply and Crushing of Traffic Gravel and Approximately 3000 Yards Per Year of 1½ Inch Gsb Material as Per the Attached Specifications (Schedule "a"). They Request One Proposal for 30,000 Yards of Traffic Gravel Per Year (90,000 Yds in Total), and Another Proposal for 40,000 Yards Per Year (120,000 Yds in Total). Please Provide a Total Cost Per Cubic Yard of Crushed Gravel With All Fees and Taxes Broken Out. Traffic Gravel Must Include a Minimum 50% Crush Count Traffic Gravel Shall Have a Liquid Limit Not Greater Than 50 and a Plasticity Index Not Less Than 3 The Gravel Shall Be Crushed All at Once and Placed in Three Separate Piles in a Secure Area With Locked Access Pile #1-30,000 Yards Will Have 10% Clay Content, or; - 40,000 Yards Will Have 10% Clay Content Pile #2-30,000 Yards Will Have 10% Clay Content, or; - 40,000 Yards Will Have 10% Clay Content Pile #3-30,000 Yards Will Have 12% Clay Content, or; - 40,000 Yards Will Have 12% Clay Content Listing of Any Fees, Including Mining Fees and Transportation Taxes Must Be Itemized as Per the Rehabilitation Environmental Levy. Proposal Must Specify Equipment to Be Used, Including Year, Make & Model. A Current Gravel Sieve Analysis Should Be Included With Your Proposal. Please Provide One Quote to Include Transportation of Material and One Without. The Gravel Supply Must Be Within a 100 Km Radius of Austin, Manitoba. The Municipality Reserves the Right to Appoint a Gravel Checker and All Crushed Gravel Must Meet Quality Approval of the Municipality. Lowest or Any Proposal Not Necessarily Accepted.
