Commercial Overhead (Garage) Door Repair & Preventive Maintenance- State Highway Administration - Wicomico County State Highway Administration - Salisbury Shop is currently requesting bids from vendors to establish a contract for as-needed Commercial Overhead Garage Door Repair and Preventive Maintenance Services in Wicomico County. The resulting contract written with the successful responsible bidder on this solicitation will be written for a term of 36 months and the lowest responsive bid amount, whichever is achieved first. Vendor shall report to SHA Salisbury Shop upon request for pre-scheduled preventative maintenance service (twice per year), or service repair call. Preventative maintenance service shall be for the adjustment, balancing, lubrication, checking/testing of operation according to industry best standards and manufacturer recommendations. If repairs are found to be needed during the preventative maintenance service, the contractor shall notify the SHA representative to detail the extent of the repair and estimate the cost of repair. Vendor shall maintain and utilize a fully stocked work truck or van to be able to repair most common problems in one trip. This work truck must have the tools and equipment needed to make common repairs to overhead doors, openers, and related overhead door accessories and items. Vendor shall have been in the business of installing and repairing commercial overhead door systems for a minimum of 5 years. No work under this contract may be subcontracted out. Proof of insurance is required Prices submitted in response to this solici!tation are irrevocable for ninety (90) days following the due date. The Procurement Officer may, however, request vendors to extend the time during which the State may accept their bids. Once a bid is accepted, all prices, terms, and conditions shall remain unchanged throughout the contract period.. No Pre-Bid Meeting will be held.
