New Q & A End Date Aug 6, 2024 5:00:00 PM CDT Bid security percent:5% Estimated Amount: $3,500,000.00 Bidder must complete this Project in accordance with the Bidding Documents, Addenda, and Oklahoma City Standard Specifications for Construction of Public Improvements within two hundred eighty-six (286) calendar days of date as stated in the Work Order. The Maintenance Bond shall be in favor of the Awarding Public Agency and shall be for a period of Two (2) years in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Additional information is contained in the Bidding Documents. Prior to bidding this Project, Bidders must carefully examine the Bidding Documents, Addenda (if any) and the City of Oklahoma City Standard Specifications for Construction of Public Improvements. These Standard Specifications are incorporated by reference into the Bidding Documents except as expressly superseded by the Bidding Documents. Bidder is responsible for monitoring the electronic bidding website to determine whether addenda were issued and for opening and complying with all addenda. This section describes the project in general and provides an overview of the extent of the Work to be performed. Detailed requirements and extent of Work are stated in the applicable Specification Sections and shown on the Drawings. The Contractor shall, except as otherwise specifically stated herein or in any applicable parts of these Contract Documents, provide and pay for all labor, materials, equipment, tools, construction equipment and other facilities and services necessary for proper execution, testing, successful start-up and completion of the Work. B. Any part or item of the Work which is reasonably implied or normally required to make each installation satisfactorily and completely operable shall be performed by the Contractor and the expense thereof shall be included in the bid price. It is the intent of these Specifications to provide the Owner with complete operable systems. All miscellaneous appurtenances and other items or work that are incidental in meeting the intent of these Specifications shall be considered as having been included in the bid price, even though these items may not be specifically called for in the Specifications. C. The Work shall include all civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work for complete and operable systems. D. The work covered by these Contract Documents comprises the construction of the water system improvements at North Canadian Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Perform a gamma ray and neutron log on existing East Well. 2. Drill and develop a new water supply well to replace the East Well. 3. Rehabilitation of the West Well. 4. Associated building, electrical, controls, foundation and all appurtenances. 5. Site work, including demolition, grading, paving, yard piping, and site restoration. 6. All other miscellaneous requirements necessary for the installation of complete operable systems.
