Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Davis Junction, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Construction of various improvements at the Davis Junction Community Park. Work shall include earth excavation and embankment construction, construction of hot-mix multi-use paths, construction of Portland cement concrete pavements/slabs and sidewalks, baseball/softball diamond construction with the related appurtenances, Portland cement concrete footing and structural slab construction, wood framed building construction, splash pad construction with the related plumbing and mechanical, fitness station construction with the related safety surface and equipment, electrical service and distribution wiring, and the associated erosion control and site restoration. **Stenstrom Construction Group is seeking disadvantage businesses (CEI’s BEP) for Davis Junction Community Park Improvements, for subcontracting opportunities in the following areas: concrete, steel, carpentry, doors, shutters, trusses, park shelters, insulation, shingles, painting, accessories, plumbing, HVAC, electric, earthwork, site improvements and landscaping as noted in contract documents and specifications. All disadvantaged businesses should contact, IN WRITING, Joel Foss of Stenstrom to discuss the subcontracting opportunities. Proposals will be evaluated based on price and inclusive scope of work identified on the written proposal.
