Union County is in need of engineering and architectural services for various infrastructure, structural and historical projects. Union County anticipates retaining at least one to three qualified firms under continuing service contracts. Specific projects will be awarded on a task order basis; no minimum amount of services or compensation will be assured to any firms. The Respondent awarded a contract shall provide Architectural and/or Engineering Services for the multi-year Continuing Contract for Architectural/Engineering Services for Union County. The contract will provide for the planning, design, contract documents, project administration and coordination The Selections and Negotiations Committee will evaluate and rank qualified respondents and provide their recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners at the next regularly scheduled Board meeting. The Board will make a final selection The services shall begin upon execution of a contract. The initial term shall be for a period of three (3) years with the ability to extend the services yearly based on continued satisfactory performance by the Consultant at the sole discretion of Union County Board of County Commissioners. This solicitation does not commit Union County to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a qualifications statement, or to procure or contract for services. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all qualifications statements received as a result of this request, to negotiate with all qualified responders, to cancel in part or in its entirety this solicitation, or re-advertise if it is in the best interest of the County to do so.
