THIS NEXT PHASE OF PROJECT WILL BE BIDDING PRIVATE AND DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE ONLINE. APPROVED SUBCONTRACTORS MUST CONTACT ESTES CONSTRUCTION FOR ALL BIDDING DOCUMENTS. The Project is expected to include: (i) removal of (2) existing asphalt tennis courts and all associated high chain link fencing; (ii) include all site sub-grade removal, materials and installation of new cohesive and non-cohesive soil; (iii) construction of (8) post tensioned concrete tennis courts, court surfacing, tennis net supports, (8) new nets and all new chain link fence and new sidewalk paving; (iv) installation of all new sodding and landscaping; (v) new electrical power and data to all courts, (vi) installation of new water service line, (vii) and all new underground storm sewer piping and construction of storm water detention basin. Des Moines Public Schools (DMPS), pursuant to Iowa Code Chapter 26A, will be publishing a request for statements of qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services to provide Preconstruction and Construction services for the Brody Middle School New Tennis Courts project. The project is located at 2501 Park Ave., Des Moines, IA 50321. DMPS intends to enter into a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract with the selected CMAR during the preconstruction process. The CMAR will be chosen using a two-step solicitation process: (1) Request for Qualifications and (2) Request for Proposals. The firms deemed to have the met the qualifications based on the following selection criteria will then be offered the opportunity to submit a proposal to serve as CMAR for the project: Firm Information Safety Record Current Capacity to Perform Compliance with Iowa and Federal Laws As part of the Request for Proposal stage, qualified respondents will be asked to submit their proposed fees for the project.
