The base bid for the project consists of furnishing, installing and providing all labor and materials (except for Owner furnished materials) required for construction of Park Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Aeration Tower Removal and Miscellaneous Improvements which includes removal of aeration tower; pipe modifications; complete cleaning and recoating of clarifier cones, associated piping and stairway; removal of asphalt pavement; new concrete pavement; swale and grading; erosion control measures as described in the Drawings and the Scope of Work contained in Section CIP3. Owner will furnish some of the materials required for pipe modifications which are identified as Bill of Materials on Dwg. M-02. Contractor is only responsible for the installation of Owner furnished materials. Original documents for Bid Security will be requested by the City from the lowest two bidders and delivered to the City's Purchasing Buyer within 48 business hours of the Bid Opening.
