The contract will, in general, be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder. Snow removal shall occur when two (2) inches or more of snow/sleet, etc. accumulates on the ground surfaces or when the District deems it necessary. If the District chooses to have snow under two (2) inches removed, the Director of Buildings and Grounds will contact the Contractor. Locations: The Contractor will be responsible for clearing snow and ice and for distributing salt/ice-melt in all parking lots and areas listed on bid. Below is a list of all district building requiring snow All snow removal services must be available at the Contractor's pricing between October 1 st and April 30th The district however, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, whether from the responsible bidders or otherwise, and to waive any informalities or technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the district. The District reserves the right to renew the contract for three (3) additional years (12- month increments) at the same terms and conditions and negotiable pricing upon mutual agreement of the contracting parties.
