Certified or bank checks will not be accepted. Livingston County is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. *Livingston County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. SCOPE OF WORK Livingston County is seeking to enhance and have installed sliding automatic entrance doors with frames at the CNR. The front entrance to the facility has two (2) separate entrance locations with two (2) sets of automatic doors and the rear/ambulance entrance has one (1) entrance location with two (2) sets of automatic doors. SPECIFICATIONS o The awarded Bidder shall be responsible for the removal of the existing exterior and interior doors and door frames and installation of the new exterior and interior doors and door frames at the Livingston County CNR in three (3) separate locations, specifically the front entrance (two (2) locations with two (2) sets of doors-interior/exterior) and the rear/ambulance entrance (one (1) location with two (2) sets of doors-interior/exterior). The total number of doors and door frames to be removed and replaced are six (6). o The successful Bidder will work closely with the CNR Maintenance Foreperson and update him daily on project operations and status. o The successful Bidder shall be responsible to obtain waste containers for the removal of all its waste materials, rubbish and packing materials resulting from its project operations. If the Bidder fails to clean up within seven (7) days after project completion, the County may do so, and the cost thereof shall be charged to the Bidder as a deduction in its awarded contract price. o The awarded Bidder is responsible for paying its labor force New York Prevailing Wages in accordance with the Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule as set forth by the New York Department of Labor. The Owner has obtained a PRC number for this project. o The successful Bidder shall provide an adequate number of qualified, experienced personnel capable of performing the required work within the time frames set forth in County's project schedule. All workers performing work shall be skilled in their respective trades. o The awarded Bidder shall identify one person, acceptable to the County, who shall act as a project liaison with the County. This individual should have the authority to make decisions on behalf of the Bidder. Bidders are encouraged to attend the re-bid site visit. Each Bidder should compare the premises with the bid specifications and be satisfied as to the conditions affecting the services to be provided before submitting its proposal
