Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in South Windsor, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, the following Work: Benedict Drive Pump Station: o Demolition of existing dry pit and pumps, including electrical, instrumentation, and controls. o Installation of new wet well and valve vault structure, with three new submersible pumps, and new electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment. o Construction of new bathroom in existing building o Exterior modifications to existing building o Site modifications Clark Street Pump Station: o Demolition and replacement of existing dry-pit pumps, piping, and valves as well as electrical, instrumentation, and controls. o Site modifications o Relocation of electrical service transformer to new location on site. o Modifications to existing building, including the construction of stairs leading up to an elevated grated platform, and new roof. Pleasant Valley Road Pump Station: o Demolition of existing dry pit and pumps, piping, and valves, as well as the building which houses the electrical, instrumentation, and controls o Installation of new wet well and valve vault structure, with two new submersible pumps, and new electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment in stainless steel panels. o Construction of elevated platform for electrical and instrumentation panels. o Site modifications. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.3 Bidders on this work are required to comply with the State of Connecticut regarding the use of Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Woman Business Enterprises (WBE), with the MBE goal not less than 3% of the contract value, and the WBE goal not less than 5% of the contract value.
