Site work for a water / sewer project in Paramount, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Utility Easement Multi-Use Path - Phase 1. Any inquiries and matters regarding this RFP shall be directed to Celina Sanchez at (562) 220-2158 and/or at Csanchez@paramountcity.com. The project will convert the utility easement between Orange Avenue and Garfield Avenue into the West Paramount Utility Easement Multi-Use Path - Phase 1. It will connect to the proposed West Santa Ana Branch Bikeway Trail north of Rosecrans Avenue and extend south to Salud Park at Somerset Boulevard. The project will offer bike and pedestrian infrastructure improvements such as a multi-use path for bicyclists and pedestrians, fencing, pedestrian lighting, landscaping, decomposed granite, ADA curb ramps, a new crosswalk with high-visibility enhancements, and street furniture. The project will improve mobility and connectivity throughout the City of Paramount by expanding active transportation network which removes barriers and closes gaps to existing bikeways and pedestrian paths. It will connect at its north end to the West Santa Ana Branch Bikeway (aka Bellflower-Paramount Bicycle and Pedestrian Trail), which offers the City of Paramount a connected regional bike path. The proposed project will design and construct 0.9 miles of a new multi-purpose path to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety through dedicated facilities and crossing improvements. This project directly benefits the local disadvantaged community by improving access to vital community resources and creating a convenient and accessible route for residents. This project increases safety and mobility for nonmotorized users and enhances public health in a disadvantaged community. The route is accessible to City of Paramount schools, several parks, retail centers, and community employment centers. In addition, the route will connect the nearby Los Angeles River Trail and the San Gabriel River Trail to residents via the West Santa Ana Branch Corridor, offering convenient connections to regional destinations throughout Los Angeles County. The Designated City Representative is Celina Sanchez, Management Analyst. Any inquiries and matters regarding this RFP shall be directed to the Management Analyst at csanchez@paramountcity.com, by no later than July 26, 2024.
