EXTERIOR PAINTING JACKSONVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY 210 West College Avenue Jacksonville, Illinois 62650 Generally, the work includes painting exterior windows, doors and miscellaneous items. Bids shall include: 1. Properly completed Proposal Form induplicate. 2. Bid Deposit in the amount of10% of Bid. 3. Not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor pursuant toIllinois Revised Statutes, Ch. 489, Sec. 39s-1 et. seq. All Bidders are advised that all work ofthis Contract shall besubject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act". Prevailing wage rates have been determined and are onfile at the Office of the State of Illinois Department of Labor, telephone (217) 782-6206. All Bidders shall submit and enclose with their bid anotarized certification that the Contractor isnot barred from bidding on the Contract as aresult ofaviolation ofeither Section 33E-3 or 33 E-4 ofArticle 33E, Public Act 85-1295 (Senate Bill 2002) effective January 1,1989. Certification islocated in the Proposal Form in the Project Manual. Bids shall beaccompanied by abid bond in the amount of10% of the Base Bid, made payable tothe Jacksonville Public Library. Bids not accompanied by abid bond will be rejected. The Jacksonville Public Library reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity inbidding, which intheir considered opinion is warranted. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening of bids.
