New Tennis & Pickleball Courts at Mike Ford Tennis Center Public Works Project No. 2024- PWI 002 The City of Fairhope is requesting responses from qualified contractors to provide all material, equipment, labor, and incidentals for the construction of twelve (12) pickleball courts (180' x 120'), two (2) tennis courts (60' x 120' each), and the resurfacing of an existing pickleball court to a tennis court (60' x 120') bituminous asphalt courts, the layout and surfacing of twelve (12) pickleball courts and three (3) tennis courts, new court fencing (with pedestrian and utility gates), construction of concrete sidewalks, and the provision and installation of the specified court equipment. This site is currently occupied by the City's recreational tennis and pickleball facility and will remain in full operation during project construction. Work will include but is not limited to clearing and grubbing, unclassified excavation, select fill, subbase processing, processing of aggregate base, asphalt wearing course, concrete sidewalk, finished surface leveling, construction of vinyl coated chain-link fencing & gates, layout, application of acrylic coatings and installation of sports equipment.
