The Project consists of the following: The Hickory Lift Station and Park Circle Lift Station are sanitary pump stations located in the City of Sun Prairie collection system. The stations each consist of two submersible wastewater pumps located in a wet well with an attached valve vault. An outdoor control panel houses electrical distribution and control equipment. Backup power is supplied through a portable generator connection on the control panel. The Project consists of installation of new dieselpowered backup generators and automatic transfer switches at each site. At Hickory Lift Station, the existing pump control panel will be demolished and replaced with a new control panel. At Park Circle Lift Station, the existing pumps will be replaced with new pumps. WAGE RATES: Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates on the Project as established by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price. BID REJECTION/ ACCEPTANCE: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serves the interests of the Owner. BID WITHDRAWAL: No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of Owner. Question Deadline 08/15/2024
