Site work for a water / sewer project in Century, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of December 20, 2024, The project in Century has been rejected by the Town and will be rebid. The project consists of: The removal and replacement of all of the Towns existing water meters with new Automated Meter Reading (AMR) meters including meter box and contents, up to 20 LF of service tubing/line, and reconnection to the existing service tubing/line on the customer and utility side. In addition to the water meter replacement, the project will include renewal of the existing water services along North Century Boulevard (U.S. Highway 29), as well as select areas in the downtown Century area. The water service renewal shall consist of the removal and subsequent replacement of the existing service saddle, corporation stop, nipple, etc. from the main to the existing meter. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any bid informalities, and to re-advertise for bids when deemed in their best interest.
